Krya Foundation ("Krya", "we", "us") runs kryafoundation.com and the Khel Kumbh member platform. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
What we collect
- Account details you give us: email, name, phone number, city, date of birth, gender, an emergency contact, the sports you play and your answers about them, a short bio and an optional profile photo. Only your email is required.
- Participation data: tournaments you register for and, where recorded, your match statistics.
- Wallet data: your top-ups (amount paid and the UPI or payment reference you give), credits, lifelines, and every entry fee, fine and refund. We never see or store card or bank details - you pay organisers directly by UPI or cash.
- Technical data: basic device and usage information, and data stored locally in your browser to make the site fast and work offline.
How we use it
To create and manage your membership, register you for events, keep your Krya Wallet (credits, lifelines and every payment and game), show your profile and stats, send you account emails (like confirming your address or resetting your password), and improve the platform. We rely on your consent and on our legitimate interest in running the community.
Who we share it with
Only service providers who help us operate: our hosting provider (Cloudflare, which also runs the bot check on the sign-in page), our database provider (Supabase, servers in Mumbai) and our email provider (Resend, to send account emails). Payments are made to Krya directly by UPI or cash. If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is also covered by WhatsApp's own terms. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
Who can see your details
You can see and edit your own record. Krya organisers can see members' details so they can run games, check people in and keep the wallets. Members who play in the same game or tournament as you can see your name, Krya ID, city, photo and points. Your sport answers are seen only by you and the organisers.
How we protect it
Access to every record is enforced by the database itself (row-level security), money only moves through checked server functions, and everything travels over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Your rights
You can view and edit most of your details from your member dashboard. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing us. If you stop playing, your membership is marked inactive and kept, so you can come back with the same Krya ID, balance and history. If you ask us to delete your data, we erase your name, contact details, photo and sport answers and remove your login; the record of payments and games is kept against your Krya ID only, as needed for our accounts.
Children
Where a participant is a minor, registration and consent must be provided by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children without that consent.
Cookies & local storage
We use minimal local storage to keep you signed in and to cache the site for speed and offline use. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new date.
AI & automation
Parts of this website were built with the help of AI tools. All content, decisions and operations are Krya Foundation's own, and we review what goes live. We do not use your personal data to train AI models, and any automated processing (such as generating your member code) is limited to running the platform.
